Editorial Review from Album Description:
THE PROCUSSIONS - STRO, REZ and MR.J.MEDEIROS return with their brand new album. With all in-house production by Stro the 89th key, The Procussions carry a unique sound only to be found in the mash-up of three very different individuals. They spend their energy bouncing inside the pocket and also off the top with subject matter bent on opening up hearts, eyes, minds, and sometimes wounds. Featuring a host of A1 guests including TALIB KWELI, THE AFROBOTS, DJ VAJRA (4 Times DMC Finalist) TARA ELIS.

***** Classic Hip-Hop CD, 2008-08-29
This cd has everything; lyrical content and substance, positivity, amazing beats production. I have a feeling this CD will still be played decades from now, which is pretty amazing given the week-long shelflife of today's average hip-hop cds. This disc blew me away though, it's definetely a treat for me after hearing hundreds of their mediocre counterparts. 5 out of 5.

*** Overall very good release 3.5 stars, 2007-04-17
There are things I like, as well as dislike about this album. Several of the songs are boring, and while both the mc's and the production are above average...just weren't all that great. Number one thing I couldn't help but notice..and bugged me throughout, was that one of the mc's sounds entirely too much like zach from rage. It was hard for my ears to get over that. On the good side, there aren't any outright terrible tracks, so its a worthwhile listen, and runs about an hour w/o skits. br / br /Best track is american fado, other standout tracks are: simple song, fight here, miss jan, and jiminy cricket (first verse especially).

***** Classic Joint!, 2007-02-01
I am soooo fortunate to NOT listen to NY radio. It pretty much stinks. I actually am a BIG fan of XM's underground radio, that's how I found out about these brothers. I have a long commute from home to work and I need some good music in my car radio. These guys are repeat offenders, in my radio that is! From beginning to end, the music is original and the rhymes are "FRESH" (flashback to the 80's). Stay away from NY Hip Hop stations. Same boooring music.Zzzzz. PS, did not know Colorado had this type of heat! Boy, We need to start lookin' in the cracks between Cali NY!

***** yes PLEASE, 2006-06-16
If you like rap with a dope rhythm and amazing lyrics, this album is a must buy. No more of that trash rap constantly yappin on about booty shaking. Personally, my favorite single from this album is "Miss January" featuring Talib Kweli. It's an awesome mixture of their styles.
