Great for All Ages, 2009-01-06
I purchased my 12 year old daughter a DS for Christmas and wanted to purchase a game that would "grow" with her. She is entering an awkward age, between being a child and being a teenager. As soon as her 14 year old brother found out she had the game, he could be found sneeking into her room and "testing" it for her. My young nephew (who is 6), also got this game for his DS and loves it. So if your looking to "invest" because these can be pricey, this is the game for you.

Grandma's gift to Hunter, 2009-01-06
This was a gift to a grandson who is five. All I know is I didn't see much of him the rest of Christmas day. Even he and his mother sat for an hour playing the game. It's all way over my head, and I would have rather seen them outside making a snow man, but I'm just the grandma.

New Super Mario Brothers, 2009-01-06
This was a gift for my 10 year old niece. She loved it and has hardly put it down since Christmas. When she does finally relinguish it, her 15 year old brother quickly snags it!

A 12 year old review, 2008-12-30
From the perspective of a kid.....ITS GREAT!
br /It does make me remember 6 years ago on our old console games...ah sweeeet!
br /Anyways my bro and I love playing multiplayer I'm always mario and he's lugi we always crack our heads up when one of us gets a big mushroom and we tear down the lvl we are playing on.
br /Though like all super mario games you can get frustrated like you can't make that jump.
br /But no matter what you won't stop till you make it (sometimes you might cuss at mario...we all do once in a while). Then once you finally make maybe a koopa comes by and kills you...AND THEN YOU HAVE TO TRY TO MAKE THAT JUMP ALL OVER AGAIN!
br /Sorry getting off track..
br /Good:
br /Very colorful
br /New powerups
br /Now in 3D
br /Addicting like crack
br /New multiplayer play. (connect with friends)
br /Mini games
br /New levels
br /And much much more!
