I can relate to this movie STRIPES because i was in basic training in feb of 1981. the film was made 2 months before i got there my platoon sgt and staff sgt were extras in the movie. its a great movie

Great Classic movie with extras, 2008-10-01
I have always loved this movie. When I found this Unrated version with some cuts that never made it in the original, I bought it. It's worth every penny of the low price I paid. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over again. I also bought it to allow my nephews to watch it. They've never seen this movie and I know they'll love it.

We already have over 100 reviews here of this very entertaining movie. br /What we need now is for someone to give a complete description of what has been added to this new UNRATED EXTENDED CUT DVD so we can decide if it is worth it to buy this new version.

Very funny, even though I have watched it like 100 times so far, 2008-06-07
Perhaps one of the funniest movies ever. Loved it and it is highly recommended. Bill Murray is one of my favorite actors and he's brilliant in this one. John Candy death was definitely a big loss as he was a great actor and acted very well in this movie. You'll like this.
