I read every poor review of this album, and every person said the same thing: they can't stand Antony's voice. br / br /I think it's beautiful and I could listen to it and his incredible music all day (and I have). Antony makes me very happy.

Antony - Haunting, 2008-03-05
Saw him perform on the I am Your Man Leonard Cohen Bio-Pic and was intrigued by voice and style. Artist has great, haunting falsiccato voice and his songs evoke a great sense of pain and confusion in his life. A must listen (intently) to.

Product as described, price excellent, timely delivery. br /What recording company fool decided to put Antony in the "Easy Listening" category?! Sure, his amazing voice is easy to listen to, but this is NOT elevator music. The band is tight, Antony's voice is flawlessly on pitch and totally original. Forget what you've read about comparisons to other singers, he's got his own style and swing. Great for jazz lovers (and I'm one), altie fans and anyone with an ear for unusual, adventuresome virtuosity.

This is an awesome album. I can understand why some people don't like it. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Overall, I would say it takes some getting used to, but once you do, every song is perfect!
