Editorial Review from Album Description:
For fans of Gavin DeGraw, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer. PI AM is a collection of songs and melodies that muse on life, love and social consciousness. PProduced by hybrid pop and crossover specialists, Pop Rox, and recorded by Chris Shaw (Bob Dylan, Weezer, Dashboard Confessional) and mixed by Tim Palmer (U2, Pearl Jam, The Cure), Mark Endert (Fiona Apple, Madonna), I AM boasts an impressive arsenal of ideas, melodies and messages. PMichael enlisted a diverse company of special guests to help realize his creative vision. The album includes contributions from ?uestlove (The Roots), Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers, Gov?t Mule), Gavin DeGraw, Eddie Martinez (Joe Cocker, Run DMC) and Paul Frazier (David Byrne, Shawn Colvin).

    Disappointing., 2005-10-04
The album cover alone should clearly suggest that this album is not good. The whole peace sign is cute, but a little lame if you ask me.

br /I saw Michael Tolcher live, and it was a good concert. The album however, is not. Most of the songs on this irritate me ten seconds in, and there's not a single track here that is truly enjoyable.
br /
br /Michael Tolcher has ripped off bands on this album, and has even admitted to it during his live performance. Half way through the song Miracle, he started singing the words to the Four Non Blondes song "What's Going On?" The chord progression is exactly the same, as is the melody.
br /
br /If you're looking to discover a real musical treat, steer clear of Tolcher. Check out Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers, Matt Nathanson, Ari Hest, etc. for similar artists who are actually talented.

br /Oh yeah, and I'm not thirteen.
