Editorial Review from Description:
A rebellious athlete, an unemployed rock musician, a frustrated painter and a simple-minded loser. When four friends with nothing better to do decide to rob a gas station, disaster ensues. When they take over the gas station, things only get worse. These four guys prove themselves to be as inept as they are impertinent. From clashes with local gangs to a confrontation with the police, this gang of degenerates has rubbed everyone the wrong way.

Should appeal to Three Stooges fans, 2008-11-11
Attack the Gas Station

br /3* Should appeal to Three Stooges fans
br /
br / OK, I'm going to fill in the gap between the 4/5* reviews and the 1/2*, and give this one 3*. On the one hand most of it is boringly, mind-numbingly silly, with a disturbing streak of genuine sadism. On the other, there are enough moments of outright slapstick, and an odd music video sequence or two, to save the disc from complete coaster-worthiness. Though to be honest I might have given it 2*'s if there hadn't been that tempting gap in the middle.
br /
br / If you like adult films, pass this one up. But if you think the Three Stooges is da bomb, except they're too sweet, you might like it.

Give me one of everything!, 2008-10-31
br /Viewing instructions: turn OFF the dubbing, turn ON the subtitles. As with most foreign (especially Asian) films, the dubbing is horrendous. Way toooooo much info lost in translation. If you not willing to read the subtitles, I'd skip the this film altogether.
br /
br /That being said, "Attack the Gas Station" is an awesome film!
br /
br /Four bored, part-time hoodlums decide to rob a gas station; the same gas station they robbed a week ago, and then the week before that. This time there wasn't enough money for their liking, so they decided they'd run the gas station until they had enough money. Hilarity ensues.
br /
br /But there are some touching moments that lend to the back stories of the four protagonists, so by the time time the movie picks up the pace a bit, you feel as though you relate to these guys, and at least have a better understanding for what's motivating this ridiculous escapade. Hilarity ensues, again.
br /
br /Score, picture quality, and extras are all excellent. The making of documentary is well worth watching.
br /
br /Bottom Line: Remember, don't dub it, sub it! Highly recommended.

For mindless teenage boys or brainless adults, 2008-10-22
Suprisingly, this film was listed in the "1001 movies you must see before you die / general editor, Steven Jay Schneider". I saw it and could have waited til I died! Little did I know that its audience was teenage boys. It was mindless, phony, with poor acting, and more! It is young hoodlums creating havoc on a gas station, fighting, and a bumbling attempt at bullying. The bad boys have taken over the gas station after assaulting the manager/owner, whatever. The movie plays out in the entire night. There is no plot.
br /
br /Second, now I know why I got the DUBBED version, which was absolutely horrible! Because young mindless teenage boys or braindead adults don't know how to read or respond to subtitles. If you want to see poor acting, worse dubbing, and a teenager's movie, this is for you, complete with horrible dubbing. ....Rizzo
