Avenging Angelo DVD, 2008-02-14
I know this flic isn't going down in history as one of the great comedies, but I am not a professional critic, and I watch movies for the pure enjoyment of them. This one I liked - period! And that's saying a lot, considering that I'm not real crazy about Stalone.

Any movie that can make me laugh is a hit with me. Madeleine Stowe is absolutely hilarious in this movie. I thought it was a good enough movie to have bought it.

not quite MST3K material...., 2006-03-27
I first saw this just because it had 'Stallone', and 'comedy' in the same sentence...that combination means the movie will be funny as hell..but not intentionally...so i started watching it..and now I actually like it enough to buy it....and that says alot. The only other Stallone movie I own is First Blood...good action movie, and then this one, good action/comedy movie in the same manner...THIS one is predictable as hell, you KNOW how itll turn out, before even finishing it, I knew what the last scene would be...enough said, but still worth the RENT

My Favorite Stallone Flick, 2005-06-15
I don't know why people dislike this film so much. I can't think of a warmer performance by Sly. This is my favorite film of his followed by (tied for second place) "Daylight" and "Cliffhanger". "Rocky" is too cliched and "Rambo" is just plain silly. I own this on DVD and bought a copy for a close friend. . .so to each his own, I suppose. I'd like to see him make more films like this one.

An amazing cast br /I love Sylvester Stallone in movies br /he can play such great roles br /he's really heart warming in this one that I have on dvd br /Madeline Stowe is amazing too br /all in all: br /the movie is funny at times and can make you laugh br / br /very touching br / br /very powerful br / br /and just downright sincere with what it gets at br / br /give this movie a chance if you haven't already
