Great 80's Cd!, 2007-04-17
This was Michaels 2nd release. Where the first album had a more aggressive sound this cd slowed it down a little bit. The songs that got my attention was "End Of The Book" and "I Am Sure" with their refreshing pop sound. I love the keyboard/synthesizer work on these songs and because of Smitty and other artist like him such as Leon Patillo made me want to venture into wanting to play keyboards and get into synthesizers in my younger years.

A remarkable and outstanding album, 2005-02-20
Michael W. Smith's second venture was a runaway hit when it was first released over 20 years ago. It was in fact the first album of his I ever heard. What I like best about this CD is that the music is really not all that dated. Sure, there's plenty of 80s-style synthsizer sound on here, but it's never overboard. This album was, for the most part, Michael W. Smith's own creative sound. br / br /The songs are very uplifting and not too rock 'n' roll-ish. This album has appeal for general audiences; not just the youth group ages, but everyone. Therefore, its appeal is timeless. And I highly recommend it.

Excellent and truely overlooked, 2005-01-11
I've been searching for this CD forever. I lost the tapes years ago and often thought of this album. What a great group of songs. br /Each song is so meaningful. If you like Michael W Smith,this is a must buy ...you will love it! So glad I found it after so many years. br / br /

An Old One but Good One, 2003-01-20
This is one of Michael W. Smith's first albums, and well worth revisiting. I enjoyed listening to this one after not having had it in the collection for about 15 years. A must for any Michael W. Smith fan.

Wish more people heard it, 2001-05-26
Like alot of the other reviews have said, this is one of MWS's best, and yet it is so overlooked. I absolutely love it. Unfortunately my parents lost the cassette years ago, and it is a while since i've heard it. I'm going to buy to hear it again, because it is just great. Maybe the fact that you hardly ever heard of it was part of its allure. It wasn't played to the death. I don't know many people who like it or even know of it. The songs are wonderful, and I as a teenager found a special place in my heart. "I am sure", "Words I Need to Say", "The End of the Book" bring back great memories and are thoughtful, inspiring. If you haven't heard this album - get it!!!
